SHARE memorable days ...

After so many rounds of checking on the availability date from all the SHARE volunteers since early this year and finally this date - today 16th September 2017 set as SHARE 20th anniversary celebration, phews! 😓😂

Then, we'd decided to organise a 2D1N stay-cation in D'Kranji Farm Resort Singapore. A few senior volunteers were volunteered to racee this place and update the rest of us with more information.

After months of awaiting, today - 16th September, 

we have arrived at Kranji Farm Resort! ✌💝

Before the resort check-in time 1pm (as arranged), we played cards first. Played card next to chair lady is very lucky... get penalized!!! 😭😅By noon we go for our sumptuous lunch pre-ordered from the resort vegetarian restaurant.

Delicious lunch served by our 2 friendly volunteers, haha!

Once checked-in we unpacked our belongings. Played a few round of cards while awaiting for other volunteers coming over to resort in later evening. 

Later, we visited to a few attraction spots - Bollywood Veggies, Fish Farm then Herbal Farm run by uncle Tan (草药达人) within the resort area.

Some highlights:-  

Via a speech given by Foo, whose has initiated this SHARE program 2 decades ago, we realized that the SHARE 20 years of journey is not an easy one. This especially for volunteers whom only joined SHARE in later years we might not know the SHARE history. SHARE would not have survived until today and still carry on with mission, this all must credited to those pioneer SHARE volunteers such as SF & SK! This is because without their persistence, their passion about SHARE, this program might have stopped in an early years... 👍👏💪

The next day - 17th September, after the morning walk we all heading back for breakfast meal as included in our resort package. Then, we back to resort for shower and pack up own belongings before the check-out time at 12pm.
